The consequences of peer sexual harassment

They also suggest difficulties trusting other people in the future. This can have a particularly devastating effect on those who have been subject to multiple forms of violence and abuse. Troy could be harassing Tonya or committing sexual harassment. Troy may be motivated by sexual pleasure or control of Tonya. Unwanted physical and verbal advances could be made to Tonya, as well as threats of spreading rumors and damaging Tonya’s reputation.
