Psychological Principles and Intelligence Types
My former boss, my close friend and a coworker are the three most intelligent people I personally know. She is extremely smart due to her ability understand and analyse complex problems and think critically. Her strong strategic and analytical mindset allows her to look at the bigger picture and pay close attention to details. Her communication skills and interpersonal abilities are excellent, and she can collaborate well with other people and manage teams. Her intelligence could be due to her executive functions skills, high levels crystallized intelligence, and other psychological principles (Sternberg 2018). My friend is intelligent in another way. My friend is a curious person with a passion for learning. His creativity and ability to come up with innovative solutions and ideas is what makes him stand out. Howard Gardner (2021), would claim that he is a naturalist intelligence. He has an in-depth understanding of nature and can identify and categorize animals and plants. My colleague’s ability to quickly understand complex information and then analyze it accurately and efficiently is another reason she is intelligent. Her organizational skills and ability to effectively manage time and her resources are also key. Her analytical and logical skills are exceptional.
