An extensive analysis of the Interplay Between CRISPR/Cas9 & EcoR1
Two powerful tools in molecular biology are EcoR1 and CRISPR/Cas9, both used for biotechnology and molecular biology. CRISPR/Cas9, a technology for gene editing that uses a nuclease to make precise genetic changes in various organisms, is called CRISPR/Cas9. EcoR1 can recognize and cut a particular DNA sequence. CRISPR/Cas9 with EcoR1 often work together to alter or modify the DNA code in a cell. CRISPR/Cas9, EcoR1 are capable of modifying a cell’s genome sequence with astonishing accuracy and efficiency, as demonstrated by recent research (Liu, Wang, and colleagues, 2020). CRISPR/Cas9 is able to insert a particular mutation into a gene. EcoR1 allows for the deletion of DNA in specific locations to allow the modification to take place. It has been used successfully to modify DNA in several organisms including yeast and bacteria (Komor et. al. 2016).
CRISPR/Cas9 combined with EcoR1 have made it possible for designer plasmids to be created with unmatched precision (Komor and al., 2019,). Cont….
