Peopleware, Software, and Hardware: Understanding their relationship
Peopleware, Hardware and Software: A description of their relation across Industries Peopleware, software, and hardware can combine in many ways to accomplish tasks, deliver process, and provide analysis. These three elements are linked in three ways: 1. Agriculture. As more data is available, farmers increasingly turn to the Internet of Things (IoT), its hardware, software and peopleware, to manage their farms and monitor animal growth. 2. Software and Hardware. Farmers can use sensors and data to manage irrigation, pest control, and fertilization more efficiently (Kasoof 2018, 2018). Building Information Modeling, a new generation of construction technology that uses hardware and software to integrate with peopleware for facilities managers, architects and constructors. All team members can be involved from the design stage to completion and on into maintenance. (Maadad 2021). Healthcare: Electronic Health Record (EHR), which is used in Healthcare, requires a mixture of hardware and software. This allows for patient data to be stored securely and kept track of any medical procedures. It also facilitates communication between healthcare professionals. Peopleware is comprised of patient portals and clinical decision support systems that allow nurses to decide the best treatment for their patients (Chen 2016). Peopleware, software, and hardware are all closely linked across different professions and industries. They reduce data loss, and provide a safe framework for data storage, management, and access.
