Exercising on Cellular Respiration Rates: What Does It Mean?
It is well-known that exercise has a significant impact on human health in many areas, including cell respiration. Cellular respiration plays a key role in maintaining homeostasis and energy production. There have been many studies that examined the effects of exercise on cell-respiration rates. These results are consistent with the assertions that exercising has a positive impact on the process. One study by Harber et al. Harber et al. (2016) examined the effects of aerobic exercise on cell respiration rates. Aerobic exercise was found to increase oxygen consumption as well as cellular respiration rates. The results indicate that aerobic exercise could improve the efficiency and energy production of cells. Fortney and colleagues also conducted another study. Fortney et al. (2021) also examined the effect of resistance exercise on cell respiration rates. Resistance exercise was found to increase the production of ATP which is the main energy source for cellular metabolism. It is possible to increase cell respiration efficiency and enhance energy production by using resistance exercises. Cont….
